S16 Setup

Step	Description	Notes
1	Place the S16 on the stage, and connect the Ethernet cable to AES50 A socket
2	Connect the Ethernet cable to AES50 A socket on the X32 Desk
3	Connect the inputs / outputs to the S16	See connections
4	Turn on both units BEFORE turning on the amplifier
5	Ensure that the X32 is set as the Master unit. Go to “Setup” by pressing the “Setup” button, and make sure you are on “Global” page. Make sure that “Internal” is selected.
6	Make sure the S16 is set to be a slave unit, and not the master. Check that the display shows “In 1”- if not, press and hold the “Config” button and turn the “HA Control” knob until “1-8” is shown. A green LED will illuminate on the S16 and a Green signal will appear on the X32 screen if the link is working, If not, try this again.
7	On the X32, select the Routing screen, make sure you are on the first page (Input) and then set “1-8” to “AES50 A1-8” and 9-16 to “AES50 A9-16”. Scroll down under 1-8 to AES A1-8, and scroll down under 9-16 to AES A9-16 as shown on the screen.
8	Scroll across to the Out page. Set “Output 7” to “Main L” and “Output 8” to “Main R”
